§16-73-38 Sanitary practices. All persons who are engaged
in barbering
shall observe the following sanitary practices:
(3) Razors, shears, scissors, clippers, tweezers, finger bowls,
or combs,
or any like article shall not be used on any customer unless they
have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized since last used. All
such instruments shall be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized by a
method approved by the department of health, after having been
used on a patron. After sanitization, they shall be stored in a
manner to prevent contamination, or be sanitized again immediately
before reuse.
